During my six years of tutoring statistics and mathematics, I have helped university level students exceed their academic goals using adaptive tutoring techniques. As a tutor, my goal is to aid my tutees to acquire the mindset of a "statistician" or a "mathematician" such that they can independently evaluate their own knowledge of the subject matter. I do this by presenting material from angles that are more natural for the student to understand the material and internalize it. I believe that each student is unique and deserves a unique approach of teaching that suits them.
